Lumorar is a personalised news briefing service operated by Lumorar (“we”, “us”, “our”). We can be reached at info@lumorar.com.

2. What we collect

We collect the following information when you use Lumorar:

  • Account data: your email address and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth).
  • Profile data: your name, location, job title, industry, business type, financial interests, and news topics — provided during onboarding and used solely to personalise your briefing.
  • Billing data: payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers or full payment details on our servers.
  • Usage data: briefings generated, dates accessed, and subscription status.

3. How we use your data

  • To generate your personalised daily briefing using the profile you provide.
  • To manage your account and subscription.
  • To send transactional emails (briefing delivery, billing receipts).
  • To improve the service — we may analyse aggregate, anonymised usage patterns.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Third-party services

We use the following sub-processors:

  • Supabase — database and authentication.
  • Anthropic — AI model used to generate your briefing text. Briefing prompts include your profile data.
  • NewsAPI — news article retrieval.
  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.

5. Data retention

We retain your account and profile data for as long as your account is active. Briefings are stored for up to 90 days. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing info@lumorar.com.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, restrict or object to processing, and data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@lumorar.com.

7. Cookies

We use only functional cookies necessary for authentication (session token). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by a notice on the dashboard.
